At Coastal Conures, we feed our adult birds a diet consisting of 80% pellets. While there are various opinions on the best diet for birds, we’ve provided a link below to the specific diet we use. 

We hand-feed our chicks with handfeeding formula and wean them onto a diet of 70% Roudybush High Energy Breeder Pellets for increased protein, 20% fresh vegetables, cooked grains, and legumes, and 10% fruits, nuts, and seeds. If you prefer a different brand of pellets for weaning, just let us know, and we'll be happy to accommodate.
